Ration dealer held with Charas, Poppy Straw by Rajouri Police

Rajouri: Rajouri police has arrested a ration dealer from a village of Darhal Police Station after recovering contraband drugs from his possession.

A specific input was received by police after which a team headed by SHO Darhal Habib Pathan under the supervision of SDPO Thanamandi Iftikar A Chowdhary and in presence of Executive Magistrate raided a ration store in Pargal Darhal.

During search of store, police recovered 805 grams Charas and 710 grams poppy straw from his possession and was seized.

Ration dealer namely Mohd Sharif Chowdhary  son of  Roshan Din resident of Pargal in  Darhal tehsil has been arrested.

A caseFIR no 18/2018 U/S 8/15/20 NDPS Act has been registered and investigation has been  started in the case.
