 Awantipora: Two army personell were killed and Kachidoora encounter is still going on. 4-5 militants could be there and Two civilians including a house owner was  killed while 25 civilians pellet injuries, 6 received bullet injuries in the anti militancy operation that began in night of sunday.

7 militants who got killed in Dragad Sugan in Shopian have been identified as

1. Yawar Ahmad yatoo
s/o majeed yatoo
R/o safnagri

2.Nazam dar
s/o Nazir dar

3.Adil thoker
s/o Ab ganie

4.Abaid Mallaha
S/o Mohd shafi mollaha

6. Rayiees thoker
s/o Ali mohd

7. Ishfaq malik
s/o Gh nahi malik
Draggad shopian

DGP was flanked by, IF CRPF and GOC 15 Corp.

 

“Encounters at two places has concluded, and undergoing at one place. Anantnag SSP made a special effort, he spoke to family members of terrorist to convince him leave path of violence, but the militant did not listen: SP Vaid said

“2 militants Rayees Thoker & Ishfaq Malik were involved in the killing of Lieutenant Umar Fayaz,”  GOC victor corps AK BHATT said. 

According to Vaid All 7 militants killed in Shopian’s Dragad have been identified as locals and their bodies have been claimed by their kin.
