JAMMU, Mar 31: Two persons were killed after being hit by a speedy car at Tanda area of Akhnoor in Jammu division on Saturday.

“Around 9 30 am an unidentified Tavera vehicle hit a Scooty at Tanda area of  Akhnoor in which Ghansham son of Tirath Ram and Arun son of Rajesh Kumar Bittu died on the spot .The dead body was lying in the middle of road for more than 3 hours,” reports said.

According to reports no ambulance was provided for the bodies  while police cops ‘forced the people to take dead bodies on Tata mobile Load Carrier’.

Protests erupted over the administration for ‘their ignorance and negligence’.

“Finally around 12.40 pm, an ambulance was provided to shift the dead bodies to the SDH Akhnoor for postmortem,” reports said.
