IGP Rath in action: Police vehicle toed by traffic cops

Srinagar: ‘Ladies and gentlemen’ with Inspector General of Police (Traffic) Basant Rath in the summer capital Srinagar, Thursday he claimed ‘Equality before law’ on streets after police vehicle got toed by traffic cops from city centre Lal chowk.

Rath tweeted a picture of a Vehicle belonging to Jammu and Kashmir Police, PS kothibagh, from city centre lal chowk being toed by the traffic police.

The top cop took to headlines for his ‘style or work’ in Jammu seems to begin his mavericks on the Srinagar roads.

Even though people enjoyed the sight of police vehicle being toed by the traffic police for violating traffic rules but what rule did they break is not known yet.

Rath himself posted the picture on his Twitter account with a caption: “Equality before law, ladies and gentlemen.”
