Media-XI CC defeat Narayana Warriors by 17 runs

Jammu: Media-XI Jammu registered easy victory over Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Warriors Katra by 17 runs in a friendly match at Moulana Azad Stadium ground.
Electing to bat first after skipper Mir Imran woman the toss, Media-XI posted a formidable 200 on board with the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Sunil Bali was the top scorer with 48 runs in 27 balls, while Ashu Kumar shipped in with 40 runs in 37 balls.
For Narayana Warriors, Dr. Satyankar Gupta, Surinder Bhat and Surinder Kumar took one wicket each.
Chasing the target, Narayana Warriors led by skipper Vigat Chandan managed 183 runs and lost the match by a margin of 17 runs.
Vigat Chandan was the highest scorer with 57 runs off 32 balls, while Suneet Thakur made 46 runs in 26 balls.
For Media-XI, Yash Khajuria bowled well and picked up 2 wickets, while Asif Butt and Vivek Suri took one wicket each.
On the occasion, Sujit Khare, Marketing Head Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Hospital katra, presented Man of the Match trophy to Sunil Bali for his splendid batting performance.
Sahil and Anand maintained the score board.
