Soura shuts over killing of Eisa Fazili

Thousands of people have assembled at Soura residence of Eesa Fazili, the militant killed in encounter with Government forces in Islamabad.

Srinagar: Complete shut down is being observed in Soura area of district Srinagar on Tuesday over the killing of a militant Eisa Fazili.

Fazili, resident of Ahmadnagar in soura locality was killed in a gunfight in Hakoora Anantnag, along with two of his associates.

All the shops, educational institutions and business establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.

Shutdown is being observed  in Ahmadnagar, soura,Buchpora, Umerhare, Pandach,Illahibagh and 90ft road.

Thousands of people on Monday participated in the funeral prayers of the slain militant. Clashes broke out in  the area after he was buried in umerhare locality graveyard.
