Srinagar: Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu has ‘paid the price of saying  ‘Kashmir isn’t a political issue’ as ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday decided to drop him from the council of ministers.

According to top source inside PDP, the party has taken strong exception to drabu’s remarks which ‘are equal of taking away PDP’s base’.

Sources confirmed that PDP has shot a letter to Raj Bhavan informing the governor NN Vohra about the decision.
