Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Bakir (RA) celebrated in Tral

Pulwama : The annual Urs of Hazarat Sheikh Bakir (RA) was celebrated with religious fervour in Khanagund, Sofigund area of Tral in South Kashmir.
Devotees thronged to famous shrine of Sheikh Bakir (RA) in Sofigund Aripal area of Tral to pay their reverence to the pious saint.
A joint prayer was held and devotees prayed for peace, prosperity, unity, brotherhood and communal harmony in the State.
“I have been visiting this place for Urs from last 20 years” Fayaz Ahmad, a devotee told INS.
All the arrangements for devotees have been put in place by local administration.
