SRINAGAR, AUG 4 :- A convoy of Indian police vehicles patrol on the sixth consecutive day of a curfew in Srinagar August 4, 2010. Kashmiri separatist leaders have appealed for calm in the biggest anti-India protests in two years that have killed dozens of people and raised fears that anger at New Delhi was spinning out of control. Bandipora: Cordon and search operation launched in the wee hours of Saturday in twin mohallas Shakoordin and Bonmohala, Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora District has been called off after no contact with militants was made.
The anti militancy operation was launched after information about the presence of militants in the area and was a joint operation of Army’s 13 RR unit and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police.
