No internet shutdown in south kashmir, police

Srinagar: Action will be against people spreading false information that internet services will be shut down in south Kashmir and reports of internet shutdown are false, police said.

“It has come the notice that some unscrupulous elements are updating wrong information that internet services will be shut down in South Kashmir which is far from the truth. These reports are highly mischievous and misleading. Hence refuted,” police said in a statement.

The statement also reads that action will be taken against ‘such elements’.
