Governor meets home minister, briefs him about JK situation

Jammu: Governor N N Vohra on Monday met the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi and briefed him about the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir, an official told INS.
The militant attacks in the state have intensified in the recent past.
Last week, a top militant escaped during a shootout in a hospital in summer capital Srinagar which left two policemen dead.
On Saturday, militants attacked Sunjwan army base in Jammu in which five soldiers, 4 militants and a civilian were killed.
On Monday morning, militants attacked a CRPF camp in Srinagar’s busy Karan Nagar area. One soldier has died. The encounter continues.
