Tral: The residents of Tral area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday staged protest demonstration against the Power Development Department (PDD) for failing to provide electricity in the sub division for the last 24 hours.
The protestors blocked Tral-Awantipora road at Aabgar Tral and raised slogans against PDD and local MLA.
“Our area is reeling under darkness for the last 24 hours,” Farooq Trali, a local told INS. “We are forced to come out on roads.”
“The power crisis is affecting us badly. Authorities should redress the issue at the earliest,” the protesters said.
