Pulwama: Nocturnal cordon and search operation (CASO) was launched by the government forces in south Kashmir’s Samboora village of this district.
Villagers said that forces launched house-to-house and contingents of forces personnel had surrounded their village in the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
Police sources said that they had inputs about presence of militants in the village.
However, a senior police official said it was a “normal domination practice” by the forces in this area.
