Tral: A massive fire broke out on Monday in many forest compartments of this sub-division in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Locals told INS that a number of green trees in Karmulla, Kamla and Narastan forests of Tral were damaged after a mysterious fire engulfed these areas Monday afternoon.
“Massive fire broke out in various compartments of upper areas of Tral and is being doused now as employees have rushed towards the spots,” a group of locals told INS.
Meanwhile, Range officer forest department Tral also confirmed the incident and said a team of forest employees reached to the spot to extinguish the fire.
