Jammu: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said the government is considering reviewing the cases of second time stone pelters.
She was responding to the concern raised by MLC Mohammad Yasir Reshi in Legislative Council regarding those having participated in agitations and are having more than one FIRs in their name but had shunned that path now.
“Our government is reviewing the cases of first-time offenders.”
“Even the families of these offenders, mostly youth, are engaged in the process,” Mehbooba said.
“The cases of second time stone pelting offenders are also under consideration of our government,” she added.
