Kupwara: Asha workers on Thursday held protest here demanding regularisation and hike in monthly salary.
Scores of Asha workers took protest march from main market Kupwara in this north Kashmir district to the office of Deputy Development Commisioner (DDC).
Raising anti-government slogans, they said authorities are not paying any attention towards their concern.
“We have been working since years and are giving our best but the government continues to watch as mute spectator at our sufferings,” they told INS.
The Asha workers said they will continue protests till their demands are not fulfilled.
