Srinagar: A 54-year-old person died on spot and eight others were injured in an accident at Ramsu on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Thursday.
A senior official of state disaster management department said that a Tata sumo (JK14B-016) on way from Banihal to Neel, met with an accident at village Halwagan of Ramsu, resulting in on-spot death Ghulam Rasool (54) son of Abdul Samad of Halwagan. Eight injured passengers were injured and evacuated to District Hospital Ramban, the official added.
