Shopian: Army soldiers resorted to aerial firing after they came under stone pelting on Wednesday morning in Pinjura area of Shopian district in South Kashmir.
Local sources said that soon after some army ‘caspers’ passed through the area, local youth started pelting stones on them.
According to witnesses army soldiers resorted to aerial firing. They said that clashes between the protesters and soldiers were going on. There was no official confirmation as yet. (Emerging story. More details are awaited.)
