2 army porters injured in blast inside army’s ammunition depot in Khundroo

Srinagar: Two army porters were injured in an accidental blast inside an army depot at Khundroo area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday afternoon.
Official sources while confirming injuries to two porters in the blast, said that further details were awaited.  They have been identified as Jahangir Ahmad and Iqbal Ahmad.
In 2007, the depot located inside a heavily guarded Army camp caught fire. Around two dozen people including the officer-in-charge, Major Tarun Kumar, had died in the blast.
