Srinagar: Unlike in class 10th, girls outperformed boys in class 12th results that have been declared by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) on Thursday. The overall pass percentage is 61.44.
The pass percentage of boys is 58.92 percent and that of girls is 64.31, the BOSE figures revealed.
A BOSE official said as many as 55163 students had appeared in the examination among which 33893 students have qualified.
He said 4040 students have to reappear while 17230 have failed.
