Sopore: A casual labourer of power development department (PDD) died on Friday when an electric pole, which he was repairing, fell on him.
Feroz Ahmed Shiekh, son of late Ghulam Nabi Shiekh, resident of Tujjer Shieif, was repairing electric poles at Harwan, Zainageer belt in this north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, reports said.
He was rushed to sub-district hospital, Sopore where doctors declared him brought him declared dead.
Meanwhile, AEE of the concerned area Showket Ahmed told INS that a casual labour died after an electric pole which he was repairing fell on him.
