Srinagar: Fire broke out in six residential houses in Nawakadal area of Srinagar’s Old City on Friday morning.
Reports said fire broke out at the houses of Mehrajuddin Ganai, Mohammad Amin Tramboo and Ashiq Ahmad Khan at Tarbal, Nawakadal causing damage to upper storeys of the structures.
Three more houses caught fire at Bulbul Lanker area of Nawakadal damaging the residential properties of Ghulam Mohammad Hazzar, Fayaz Ahmad Rather and Abdul Samad Gujri.
Fire tenders and police rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
