One-way traffic to ply on Srinagar-Jammu highway

Srinagar: The only road connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the world was on Friday restored for only one-way traffic till further orders by authorities.

According to a traffic police official, the traffic will ply from Srinagar to Jammu and no vehicle, including those of security forces, would be allowed from opposite direction.

However, the historic Mughal road and highway, linking Ladakh with Kashmir remained close.
