Srinagar: Due to poor visibility and snow, the Srinagar airport has not received any flights since Wednesday morning.
An airport official said the runway has been cleared of snow and visibility has improved at the airport and so far they have cancelled only one flight going to Ladakh.
“we haven’t received any flights from outside yet, but the authorities are yet to announce the suspension,”  an airport official said.
However, the Srinagar-Jammu highway, the only road linking Kashmir with the rest of the country remained closed since Monday due to the accumulation of snow at the Jawahar tunnel and landslides near Panthal region.
