Tral: Inhabitants of Bangidar-Gutroo Village in Tral have demanded a bridge on nallah popularly known as Bradi-Angan Nallah, which is causing hardships to the residents since decades.

The residents while talking to INS News expressed resentment against the authorities for failing to construct a bridge on the said nallah, causing hardships to the people there.

Residents said they have been requesting all the legislators for many years to construct a bridge on the said Nallah, as the local residents are facing immense hardships due to lack of bridge on it, but not a single step has been taken till date.

Bangidar village is far flung area of Aripal area in Tral, around 16 kilometers from Sub district headquarter, and has no connectivity with other areas due to the lack of bridge in the area.

The locals said that they apprised the senior functionaries in the administration about the issue but they failed to do anything substantial in this regard.

“We already met many politicians and discussed our issue with them but nothing has been done so far as our pleas turned into deaf ears,” said Chudiya Khan, a resident of Bangidar village of Tral.

Due to the absence of the bridge there have been cases of deaths, fire incidents and other accidents in our area which could have been avoided if the bridge connectivity was restored, a local lady Wazeera said.

The locals while talking to INS News urged Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti to intervene in this regard and mitigate the problems of people by constructing bridge over the said nallah.
