Kuwara: Two persons were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Chowkibal area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday, police said.

An official said that a car (bearing registration number JK09 A 7899) turned turtle at TP Chowkibal, resulting into on-spot death of two persons and injuries to three others.

The deceased, according to the official, were identified as Habibullah (45) and Ruqaya Begum (35).

He said the injured were rushed to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment.
