Ganderbal: Do you know daily wage employees of Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation are on hunger strike since last 15 days in Ganderbal and on Wednesday they entered their 48th day of protest demanding  regularisation of services.
JKPDC daily wagers are protesting from October 13 demanding regularisation of services.

Employees threatened to ‘involve families in hunger strike if government fails to regularize their services.’

The protesting employees of USHP-ll (Upper Sindh Hydro Power Project) Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district told INS: “We will fight for right till death and will continue to stay on strike till our demands are met.”

Authorities are not addressing our issues, protesting daily wagers claimed, ‘instead of listening to us they have put deaf ear to our genuine demands.’
