Jammu, Nov 28: Jammu & Kashmir Bank opened its cluster office at Doda town in Jammu division of the state and is located in the centre of town  making it easily accessible for the general public,  Bank said on Tuesday.

Premises of Cluster-1, Doda was inaugurated by Executive President, S S Sehgal in presence of Zonal Head Khursheed Ahmed Fazili and  Arvind Gupta, Vice President Business Support Division.

“This Cluster-1 Doda is located in the centre of Doda town and is easily accessible for the general public. It has 30 business units of District Doda under its jurisdiction. Public in general and customers of the Bank in particular will be immensely benefitted with the commencement of working of the cluster office in the new premises. It will facilitate ease of doing business in the area due to its easy approach and access,” bank said in a statement.

According to bank spokesman the centrally located cluster office will help in taking the banking services to the door steps of inhabitants of District Doda ‘which is another step towards commitment of J&K Bank towards the citizens of the State.’

“Be focussed on the challenges ahead to achieve the desired results. Cluster Heads and the Business Unit heads should not only achieve the business and other targets but surpass them during the current financial year,” he was quoted as saying.
