DODA , NOV 24- Police on Friday arrested a daily wager of JKPCC with government cement, for ‘criminal breach of trust causing loss to the state exchequer’.

According to  police a Naka  was laid at Bharat Nala on Doda Bharat road  in which seized 60 bags.

“During checking vehicle truck (709) bearing Registration No JK06-7506 was intercepted which was loaded with Cement bags. On inquiry from the driver he did not reply satisfactorily and during checking found that Cement was issued for JKPCC and the officials of JKPCC have misappropriated Govt Cement by means of criminal breach of trust causing loss to the state exchequer,” police said.

Driver of the vehicle namely Rayees Ahmed R/o Koti and one Zafrullah Shah R/o Udyanpur Doda ( Employee Daily wager JKPCC) arrested on the spot and a case FIR No. 245/2017 U/S 406, 409 RPC was registered at P/S Doda.

“The police have started investigation into the case. The involvement of more employees of the JKPCC cannot be ruled out in this matter. The arrest of more employees cannot be ruled out,” Mohammad Shabir, Senior Superintendent of Police said.
