Forces resorted to aerial firing in tral to disperse  protesters against bringing down of banners featuring slain militant Adil Rashid in Lurow village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Locals said that army troopers of 42 Rashtriya Rifles attempted to bring down the banners of slain militant Adil Chopan erected in the village.
“Locals protested against the army action and resorted to stone pelting,” locals said.
The troopers,  retaliated by firing several shots in the air to disperse the protesters.
