Srinagar police to financially support slain SI Imran Taks family by donating salary

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police district srinagar is planning to donate salaries ‘voluntarily’ to financially support family of Sub inspector Imran Ahmad tak, who was recently killed in a militant attack in zakura, Srinagar.
In an official communication to all zonal SSP, Sp, SDPO, Dysp, SHO and DO, police authorities have asked them to seek consent from ‘every one on this account by announcement in the roll calls and seek an undertaking from the consented staff in writing for giving such voluntary contribution’.
The sources said that that the move according to police authorities is to ‘give a small tribute to our martyred brave heart’.
Sources said that they wil have to donate their salaries according to position.
SSP srinagar will be donating salary of 5 days, while other SsP’s will donate 4 days salary.
SDPO’s and Dysp’s will donate salary of 3 days, while SHO’s and DO’s will donate 2 days salary.
Head constables, selection grade constables, CT’s, Foll and other NGO’s will be donating salary of 1 day towards financial assistance for slain Imran taks family.
Imran was killed in a shootout at Zakura srinagar.
