Srinagar, November 20:Police arrested three drug peddlers in Bandipora district and seized contraband substances from their possession.

Acting on a specific input Bandipora Police raised a checkpoint (Naka) at Paribal, Aloosa and apprehended three notorious drug peddlers namely Mushtaq Ahmed Dhobi alias Ketta son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Dhobi resident of Kaloosa, Mohd Ramzan Sofi alias Darzi son of Abdul Khaliq Sofi resident of Kaloosa and Rameez Rashid Bhat alias Hefa son of Abdul Rashid Bhat. 250 grams of charas and 390 tablets of Alprox 0.5 mg, clonazepam and Spasmo Proxyvon was seized from their possession. .

In this regard, case FIR No 159/2017 under section 8/20/22 NDPS Act was registered in police station Bandipore and investigation was taken up.
