Srinagar: Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen said on Saturday that Kashmiris armed struggle was not sponsored from across border or linked with ISIS or AL-Qaeda as it named Khalid Dawood Salfi as new district commander for Pulwama following the killing of Mugees Ahmad Mir.
“India has always tried to link struggle by people of Jammu and Kashmir as sponsored from across the border, Al-Qaeda, Taliban or Daesh in order get favours from world community,” a spokesman of the TeM said in a statement said.
Meanwhile, the spokesman said the TeM’s chief and general secretary of United Jihad Council Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman paid tributes to Mugees.
