Mugees succumbed to injuries during zakura shootout, IGP

Srinagar: Mugees, of Tehreek ul mujahideen outfit succumbed to injuries sustained in Zakura shootout this evening.

Inspector General of Police Muneer Khan while talking to INS said: “We had information that Mugees was injured that is why we were searching the area. He was injured and has succumbed his injuries”.

A brief shootout erupted at Zakura in which Sub inspector was killed and an SPO was injured this evening.

in the ensuing shootout, according to police sources, mugees sustained grievious injuries and later succumbed.

One suspected militant was arrested at Zakura and a car was siezed.
