Srinagar, November 14:   The IGP Kashmir Zone has promoted 123 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspectors.

The approval for the promotion was granted by Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) under the Chairmanship of IGP Kashmir Munir Ahmad Khan.

The committee has approved promotions in favour of 123 Head Constables of Executive Wing to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors having lien and seniority with Kashmir Zone. The DPC has also disposed off 49 other promotion cases of different ranks whose cases were not earlier considered for their promotion to the next ranks in view of different reasons.

The IGP Kashmir has felicitated newly promoted officers and their families and impressed upon them to work with more dedication and devotion in the interests of public and the department.
