Sopore November 13: Scores of Urban Local Bodies Employees including ‘safayee Karamchari’ of Municipal Council Sopore on Monday hold protest a protest rally against the government for its failure to fulfill their demands.

The employees demand regularizing services of daily wagers including the settlement of pending pension cases, implementation of new staff pattern, release of their leave salary and consolidated paid workers and Casual Labours especially Safai Wallas.

The protesting employees were holding protest under the banner of ‘Jammu and Kashmir Local Bodies Employees United Forum’

The protest rally was led by president Showkat Ahmad Teli which started from Municipal Council office Sopore and marched towards ADC office Sopore to submit a memorandum of their demands before ADC Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
