Kupwara: A book seller is under police detention after Hundred thousand, one lac, US dollars were recovered from his possession in Kupwara on Friday.
“A book seller Mushtaq Ahmad mareed s/o Ab Rashid mareed  R/o Goos kupwara was arrested and we recoverd one  lakh American  dollars,” police sources disclosed to INS.
How this much of currency was in his possession, is being investigated.
“He has been arrested at bus stand kupwara in a hotel along with American currency, and was handed over to incharge  police post bazaar by order of ssp kupwara,” sources said.
