Ganderbal police solved a theft case and recovered stolen cash worth Rs 16700  and the  culprit has been arrested.

A person namely Hilal Ahmad Guroo resident of Gangerhama reported in Police Station Ganderbal with a complaint regarding the theft of money from his pocket at Qamariya Cricket Ground Ganderbal.

A case FIR no. 242/17,US 379 RPC was registered in Police Station ganderbal and investigation was set into motion.
A team under the supervision of DySP  Hqr Ganderbal Dr. Rameez Raja and headed by Incharge  Police station  Ganderbal DySP Aakash Kohli was formed.

When contacted DySP Ganderbal Rameez said during the course of investigation, many suspects were called in police station for questioning and  it came to fore that one person (name with held), resident of Tehlipora Harran had committed such theft and on his disclosure cash of rupees 16700  was recovered, subsequently he was arrested in the case.
