Scooty rider killed, another injured in Handwara road accident

Handwara: A scooty rider was killed while another left injured in a road accident in north Kashmir’s Kashmir Handwara area on Monday.

According to reports, a scooty rider met with an accident at Handwara near SSP office when a speedy mini bus bearing registration JK09/ 0933 hit and injured two persons critically.

However both injured were immediately taken to a hospital, where the doctors declared one injured brought dead and was identified as Ubaid Farooq R/o Magam while the another injured Adil Rashid was reffered to Sgr Medical institute for special treatment. Meanwhile, Handwara Police has registered a case in this regard and a driver of mini bus has been arrested.
