Srinagar: Chief Minister and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti has accepted the resignation of Vikramaditya Singh, grand son of  Hari Singh, the last Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir, from her party.

Mehbooba has accepted Singh’s resignation, media reports said.

Singh resigned from the ruling PDP on October 22, accusing the party of ignoring Jammu region and not taking action on his demand for deportation of Rohingya refugees from Jammu and Kashmir.

Singh has also resigned as member of the Legislative Council to which he was nominated by the PDP.
