Srinagar:  Hurriyat Conference (M) has strongly condemned the continuous arrest of amalgam chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq as well as summons to United Jehad Council (UJC) chief Syed Salahudin by NIA.
“The way through military might is used to crush the genuine struggle of people in the Valley, stands an eye-opener for the nations believing in democracy and the world rights bodies,” Hurriyat conference said.
The spokesman strongly denounced the fresh wave of arrests of family members of United Jehad Council (UJC) chief Syed Salahudin by NIA, sending summons to rest of the family members and calling them to New Delhi for questioning as “political vendetta”.
The Hurriyat Conference said harassing the family members by the NIA in the name of questions deserves all forms of condemnations. “The grandson of UJC chief is a student and summoning him to New Delhi will cast a shadow on his educational career.”
