Ganderbal: In a bizarre incident 26-year-old mother of three children was allegedly beaten to death by her husband in Ganderbal district on Thursday.
The incident happened at Prang area of the district.

The victim has been identified as Sakeena Bano (26) w/o Mohammad Maqbool Baniya of Gujar pati preng, was hospitalized after being beaten allegedly by her husband a day before.

Sakeena succumbed and died in SKIMS Soura early today. Husband of the deceased has been detained for questioning.

“We are waiting for post mortem report, meanwhile her husband has been detained,” SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad told INS.

According to reports Sakeena was thrashed by her husband, allegedly, over some domestic issue.
