Bandipora: A 75-year-old man was mauled to death by a wild bear at Chichinar area of Bandipora district on saturday Morning.

Division officer police post Aloosa bandipora Shahnawaz told INS that incident happened at about 6:30am today.

“Bear attacked one namely Nazir Ahmad Chauhan, son of Umer din Chauhan, of Gujjar Basiti Chichinar,” he said.
The victim was outside his house when he was attacked him.

“He suffered head injuries, was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead,”  he said.
