Srinagar: Kashmir High Court Bar Association’s election body on Sunday announced support to call for strike by traders tomorrow and urged its members to abstain from courts in protest against summons by NIA to KTMF president Yasin Khan and several others.
“Keeping in view, the sensitivity and the importance involved, the Election Commission  of J&K High Court Bar Association Srinagar which has been entrusted with the  responsibility of conducting  of free and fair election of office bearers  of (lawyers body), which is scheduled on October 28 has decided to support the strike call given for (Monday) by the traders body and request the members of the to abstain from court work,” reads a statement issued by the lawyers’ body. It said the dozens of Kashmiris by NIA to Delhi including Mohammad Yasin Khan , Alla Fazli ( Phd.D Scholar) of Kashmir  University and many others have been summoned “only to tease, torture, humiliate and sub-judicate the people of Kashmir.”
