Two offices gutted in fire, records damaged

In a fire incident two government offices were gutted in Beerwah division of Budgam district on Friday.

Fire engulfed the buildings in which offices of Social Welfare and JK Board are housed.

 

 

According to eye witnesses it took four hours to douse the fire however massive damage to the offices had happened.

Eye witnesses told INS that fire  may have destroyed the official records.

“Officials are present at the spot and are retrieving the records,” they said .
