Vehicular movement on SGR-JMU highway halted due to landslide

Srinagar: Srinagar Jammu highway was closed for the vehicular moment after a massive landslide hit the road on Monday.

“Due to landslide at Morh Passi, highway is blocked and the landslide has also damaged the bridge,” traffic police department said.

The official however added that the men and machinery has been deployed at the spot.

“ We have suspended the traffic movement for now,” officials said, however added that the ‘halt is temporary’.
