“Class work in higher secondary schools and colleges in district Kupwara shall remain suspended for tomorrow ( 28/08/2017) in view of preventive measures,” said Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Khalid Jahangir in a statement issued here.

He, however, said that staff members shall attend their respective institutions. The educational institutions in district have remained closed since August 24 after news about the killing of the youth from Handwara in the fake encounter spread.
