Srinagar: The state government on Thursday shifted two IAS officers, posted as deputy commissioners of Srinagar and Anantnag, with immediate effect.
According to a government order, Farooq Ahmad Lone (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Tourism Department, Civil Secretariat. “A post from the overall cadre strength of IAS is transferred to the Tourism
Department for drawal of salary of the officer,” it said.
Syed Abid Rasheed Shah (IAS ), Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, vice Farooq Ahmad Lone.
Mohammad Younis Malik (KAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, has been posted as
Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, vice Syed Abid Rasheed Shah.
