Srinagar:  The state government on Wednesday ordered posting of V. K. Singh (IPS, JK: 1987), as Special DG, Headquarters.
According a government order, Dilbag Singh (IPS, JK: 1987), has been posted as Commandant General, Home-Guards/CD/SDRF, J&K.
“It is further ordered that both the officers shall relinquish the charge of the posts, presently held by them, with immediate effect,” the order said. Both the officers were promoted to the grade of Director General of Police by the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
