JK Bank organises welcome programme for IIT students at Jagti

Srinagar: J&K Bank organized a two-day welcome programme for the new students of IIT Jammu in the new campus at Jagti. The institution has been made operational from the current academic year.
The new students for current academic year who reported for registration were welcomed by the Bank with light refreshment and were provided on the spot orientation about the various products of the bank especially the customized education loan for IIT students. The students were also provided the facility of on spot opening of accounts by the marketing team of the Bank.
Interacting with the students during the programme, Vice President and Zonal Head Jammu (Central) Sunil Gupta said that the outreach is in line with the Customer Centric vision of Parvez Ahmed, Chairman and CEO of the bank who has strategic interest in developing greater industry academia partnership for the benefit of people of Jammu and Kashmir State.
The Zonal Head added that the bank has a tradition of reaching out to the premier Educational institutions in the state for providing state of the art modern banking facilities to the enlightened faculty and students at their doorsteps. He outlined that the bank intends to have a full fledged Business unit and Digital Lounge to provide state of art banking services and products to students, staff and faculty of the esteemed IIT Jammu.
The zonal head thanked the IIT Jammu management especially Director Dr. Manoj Singh Gaur for providing an opportunity to the bank to serve this centre of academic excellence.
